remember a while ago I spoke about a website that involved a woman with the best body I have ever seen, and she is like your own personal trainer at home? well, I have been doing it a little bit each week – maybe 1 or twice, but I also joined the Y and have become a bit of a zumba addict, which I try to get to at least 3 times per week.
The good news is that no-one has asked me if I am pregnant in at least 10 days! I even went to my OB-GYN and she confirmed that I was NOT pregnant! Nor did the doctor leave any apparatus in my uterus after giving birth a year ago. I think I finally came to terms with the fact that after four kids, my stomach muscles have stretched, along with my portion sizes. So– I have cut down radically on my portion sizes, started eating a ton of fruit and veggies to fill me, and my treat is a few choc almonds everyday – a few means 7. And that suffices.
I have lost nearly 7 pounds and 3.5 inches. In about 4 weeks. So I am pretty pleased with that.
By a raise of hands – ahem – I would like to know who would be interested in me posting my weekly family din-din menu, which is very healthy, low fat , high fibre meals? Also been working on some healthy kid friendly recipes.
